Thanks for booking your Paranormal Investigation at the Martin Walton House! We look forward to having you as our guests! When you arrive we will check you in and collect waivers. After this we will give you a quick tour of the museum and property lines and answer any questions. If you arrive AFTER 8PM we reserve the right to refuse entry. You must arrive at your designated time, unless otherwise agreed to by staff. If you are late, your money will NOT be refunded.
While the museum beds are not for sleeping, you're welcome to bring cots, sleeping bags, or air mattresses into the museum. We ask that all equipment is removed by 8AM the following morning for 12 hour investigations. Should you decide to leave early, or you have a 6 hour investigation, we will show you how to lock up. You will also be provided six folding chairs you may move around the museum as needed. EVEN IF YOU BOOKED EXTRA INVESTIGATORS, YOU WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED SIX FOLDING CHAIRS. These chairs are to be returned to their original location before leaving.
We have a microwave and a Keurig for your use, coffee pods, creamer, and k-cups are supplied. There is one refrigerator shelf reserved for paranormal teams in the gift shop. You may bring non-alcoholic drinks. If you have smokers in your group, the smoking area is right outside the employee entrance, please dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately. Included with your investigation is one bag of chips per member of your team, and one drink of your choosing, in addition to coffee pods, sugar, and creamer. Feel free to choose one at the start of your investigation. Additional drinks, snacks, are available for purchase and Uber Eats, GrubHub, & delivery services do deliver to this address - Just be sure to adjust the pin so they don't deliver pizza to the neighbor! It's hard to investigate on an empty stomach! Just please keep all food in the kitchen area OR on the turn of the century porch. The dining hall is NOT for eating. You're welcome to bring food if it is kept in the kitchen. Any purchases from the gift shop must be made while our staff is checking you in. Under NO circumstances can you purchase something after the staff leaves and leave money behind.
Remember, all rooms in the museum (except bathrooms) are monitored by live feed camera systems. We do have a 24/7 armed security guard on call, and we reserve the right to remove any team for drinking and unreasonable or destructive behavior. Staff may or may not be present in the museum and will likely remain in the staff trailer at the rear of the home. Investigations are allowed outside until 10PM. Access to the cemetery through the neighbor's property is ONLY allowed during daytime hours and when accompanied by museum staff. Remember, all guests MUST be over age 18. This is not a hotel or AirBnB, and cannot be treated as such.

Lastly, some rules and as stated when you booked as well as in your liability release:
There are to be absolutely no cleansing rituals of any kind.
No Ouija boards are allowed on the property at any time.
Do NOT touch or move any glass or excavated artifacts.
Pictures should not be moved off the walls.
Dismantling of the cameras is strictly prohibited.
If these rules are violated, at any hour of the day, our security guard will have you removed from the premises and no refunds will be given.
Don't let our media policy "spook you". You may record and take photos at the Walton House, and please tag us on Facebook. We would love to see your evidence! We just ask that you don't "Go Live" on social media or record for television without prior written consent. This is to prevent unwanted guests from showing up at the house unannounced and is for the security of the museum.
